Privacy Policy

1) Introduction

PubQ, 559057-4843 ("the Company" or "we") is responsible for all personal data processed by us. Security matters to us, and we're committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with this policy. Your personal data is processed with your consent — by accepting this policy, you consent to the processing described below. The Company is the data controller for personal data we process under applicable law. This policy applies only to information collected through PubQ's mobile applications and certain associated web pages made available through the Application or online. It does not apply to information collected offline or through other means. The Application may contain links to third-party sites that are not owned or controlled by the Company; we are not responsible for how those sites handle personal data, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies before sharing information. Use of the Application is also subject to the End User License Agreement available at www.pubq.se.

2) Personal Information

We collect data you provide to us — for example when you create or update your account, register to use the Application, request services or information, contact customer service, or otherwise communicate with us. This data may include name, home and delivery addresses, email address, mobile phone number, date of birth, and gender.

3) Usage

We process your personal data to provide the devices, services, and information you request through the Application. That includes contacting you about your orders, delivering products you've ordered, sending newsletters and information about new offers, and administering surveys to better understand our users' needs. We do not use your activity on the Application to display advertisements for PubQ or for any third party. We don't belong to advertising networks that use your browsing history for interest-based ads, and we don't use cookie technology designed to track you after you leave the Application. Where we have your consent, we may share information with companies, organisations, or individuals outside the Company. You can revoke that consent at any time, after which no further processing will take place.

4) Data Protection

We use physical, technical, and administrative security measures that meet industry standards to protect your privacy and your data. Because the Internet isn't a fully secure environment, we can't guarantee the security of information you transmit to us, and there's no guarantee that information won't be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breaches of our physical or technical safeguards. Protecting your login credentials is your responsibility.

5) User Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction, anonymisation, completion, or deletion of personal data that is incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. You can also request restriction of processing, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority. You can view and update certain account details by logging in and going to the Profile section of the Application. You can opt out of marketing through the in-app opt-out or email deactivation feature. You can also terminate your account by contacting us by email or phone using the contact information in section 10 — once your account is terminated, we will no longer use your data or share it with third parties. You also have the right to data portability — to have personal data you've provided transferred so you can use it elsewhere — please contact PubQ to request this.

6) Data Sharing

To fulfil the purposes for which data was collected, your information may be shared with approved third-party service providers — for example to manage the servers used for the Application, process orders, deliver goods, or provide customer support. We apply reasonable contractual and technical protections to limit how those providers use the information they access. We may also share personal information with third parties when we believe it's necessary to (a) comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable government requests; (b) enforce applicable terms of use, including investigating potential violations; (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the Company, our users, customers, or the public from harm. If ownership of our business changes or we transfer assets related to the Application to a new owner, we may transfer your data to that new owner provided the purpose remains consistent with this policy, and you'll be informed of the new data controller. We may also disclose aggregated, non-identifying information without limitation.

7) Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to receive and store certain information when you interact with the Application. A cookie is a small text file saved on your device that may store unique identifiers, user preferences, and other information. We use Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics to collect information about your visits to www.pubq.se, including the pages you visit, location, and details about your device and internet connection (such as IP address, operating system, and browser). Third-party cookies — including those used by Google Analytics — help us analyse how the Application and website are used; more information is available at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. We may also automatically collect location data from your mobile device to improve service quality, guide you to nearby services, or measure activity levels — you can enable or disable this in your device settings. Firebase Analytics also logs crashes and other non-fatal issues; that data isn't attributable to your PubQ account but helps us improve the Application. By using the Application, you consent to the use of cookies as described. You can opt out by deleting cookies from your device, refusing them in your browser settings, or using your browser's incognito mode — doing so may impair certain features of the Application.

8) Data Handling

Your personal data is only retained as long as needed to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected in accordance with this policy. The Application is not intended for use by anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you are under 18, please don't use the Application or enter any information into it. If we become aware that we've collected information from a child under 18 without parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe we may have such information, please call +46 73 623 52 98 or email support@pubq.se.

9) Privacy

This privacy policy may change without notice. We will not weaken your rights under this policy without your consent or change them in violation of applicable law. Any changes will be published on www.pubq.se, and if the changes are significant we will notify you separately. We keep previous versions of this policy archived for your review. Continued use of the Application after changes are made constitutes acceptance of those changes.

10) Contact
